CARLOS ARMESTO (Director) is Producing Artistic Director for Theatre C (www.theatrec.org). Selected Directing Credits with Theatre C include Hedwig and the angry inch; Spring Awakening, The Who’s Tommy (NJ Tony: Best Director), and disOriented. KEITH ROBINSON (Composer, Orchestrations, Music Director, Producer) is a composer, producer, and sound designer. He is the Vice President and developer at the award-winning and internationally acclaimed Sample Logic LLC sound library company. Keith is also a member of the Adjunct Faculty at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music (Recorded Music: Tisch School of the Arts at NYU) where he teaches music production. As a part of his ongoing pursuit as an educator, Keith authored the book “Ableton Live 8 and Suite 8: Create, Produce, Perform” published by Focal Press, in October 2009.
For over six years, Keith worked alongside New York music producer Andrés Levin (Grammy Award, In The Heights – Cast Recording) composing music for a number of feature films (El Cantante, Borderland, Feel The Noise, Ladron Que Roba A Ladron, One Heartbeat), and TV commercials, including projects featuring Mark Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Michael Stipe, Cucu Diamantes, Miguel Bose, Beto Cuevas, Stephen Barber, and Yerba Buena.
Keith is a member of ASCAP and holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education & Trumpet Performance and a Master’s degree in Music Technology: Scoring for Film and Multimedia from New York University. He has also studied with Rachel Shenkin and Joel Derfner (Musical Theatre), Sonny Kompanek (Orchestration) and Deniz Hughes (Composition).

AMY BAER (Composer, Orchestrations) is a New York Based composer for film, television and theater. As music assistant to Academy Award winning composer Howard Shore, she has worked on scores such motion pictures as The Hobbit, Hugo, and Cosmopolis. She also composed the music for the trailer of “The King’s Speech”. As an orchestrator and copyist Amy has also worked with New York based composers Greg Pliska, Joel Doeck, and the musical group HEM. Additionally her work with the Public Theatre’s productions of 12th Night and As You Like It for Shakespeare in the Park have led her to work with such artists as Anne Hathaway, Audra McDonald, and Raul Esparza.
Amy Baer is a member of ASCAP and earned her Masters in Film Composition from NYU (Elmer Bernstein Award Winner), and participated in the Tony winning BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Most recently she composed an original score for the Documentary Billy Mize and the Bakersfield Sound, and served as an orchestrator for Vinnie Favale’s off-Broadway musical, Hereafter.

MARK-EUGENE GARCIA (Book & Lyrics) is extremely excited to be part of the Standby team! He hails from sunny Covina, California. He is a member of ASCAP, as well as a resident playwright of the F.A.C.T. Theatre Company. He studied book and lyric writing with the Academy of New Musical Theatre. His written theatrical work includes Facing East: the Musical, One Night at the Golden Boot, (un)missed connections, Inscriptions, The Journey, and The Holy Cows of Credence South Dakota. His works have been presented in The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, The Puzzle: Marble’s Festival of New Works, ANMT’s Festival of New Musicals, Untucked: LBGT One Act festival, LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, Disney’s Hyperion Theatre, and The Colony Theatre Burbank. He has contributed additional lyrics to Recording Artist Barry Brandon’s touring show In My Own Words.
Mark’s many stage roles vary from New York to California, including the shows, The Taint of Equality, Six Silences in Three Movements, Leaves of Grass, Hamlet, New York, The Boys in the Band, Ten Pages with Twenty Five Words and a Nude Scene, The Full Monty, and the Man who Loves Islands. and many performances at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure and was a recent feature “This is my Jenny” commercials for Jenny Craig. ALFRED SOLIS (Concept, Book & Lyrics, Producer) is a playwright and the Director of Innovation at the Buck Institute for Education. Alfred grew up in California amongst a myriad of Filipino families where he brought awareness of the Filipino culture through various creative works.
Alfred earned his BS Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Notably, Alfred hosted Bill Gates & Oprah Winfrey in his classroom at High Tech High as part of his efforts to advance education reform. He continues to travel the world promoting Project Based Learning and education technology.
