ALFRED SOLIS has a background in Mechanical engineering.  However, after graduation he chose a career with an international business consulting firm and later joined a venture fund investing in technology startups. In fall of 2001, Alfred shifted his career to educational reform. He is currently a director at an education non-profit.

Despite Alfred’s kaleidoscopic background, musical theatre was always his passion. He wrote and directed a musical satire, Once Upon A Time, while in college. In 2003, Alfred started writing and singing rudimentary tunes for LiGHTS KARMA ACT!ON, the original title for STANDBY. After writing the first draft of Act I, he fortunately met Keith who made the music come to life. After a seven year hiatus and the wonderful addition of Amy, Alfred is dedicating his right-brain to the book & lyrics and production of STANDBY.


KEITH ROBINSON has been composing and arranging music of music for over 15 years and continually works as a film & TV composer, music editor, and sound designer in New York City. Currently, he is Vice President and developer at Sample Logic LLC sample library company and is also part of the Adjunct Faculty at the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music (NYU).

Notably, Keith has recently completed authoring his first book Ableton Live 8 and Suite 8: Create, Produce, Perform published by Focal Press, October 2009.

Keith holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education & Trumpet performance and a Master’s degree in Music Technology: Scoring for Film and Multimedia from New York University. Film Credits: El Cantante, Feel the Noise, Borderland, One Heartbeat: Bobby Bowden and the Florida State Seminoles, The Unwilling


AMY BAER is a New York based composer for film, television, and theatre. She earned her Masters in Film Composition from NYU, and also participated in the Tony winning BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.

In addition to writing for television and theatrical trailers such as The King’s Speech, Amy currently serves as a copyist and music assistant to other New York based composers such as Howard Shore and the musical group, HEM. Her projects have led her to work with such with artists such as Anne Hathaway and Audra McDonald. Most recently she composed for the National Geographic Documentary Hunting with Giants and completed the music preparation for Martin Scorcese’s upcoming film, Hugo. Currently she serves as an orchestrator for Vinnie Favale’s new musical, Hereafter, which is scheduled to open March 2012.
